Sunday Stroll

The sabbath was freakishly beautiful this weekend. Some of my cousins came up and I heard my Aunt Cathy mention that she would like to go for a walk. I agreed to go on such an adventure and decided to take a couple of plastic grocery bags with us to fill with trash. My Pop tried to give me a large garbage bag and I said we'd be alright with the little bags. I totally underestimated the amount of garbage on our road. The plan was to walk a half-mile out and then turn around and come home. Both of the bags were full before we even reached a quarter-mile.

"Some Asshole really likes Rally's," Cathy said.

Someone out there finishes their fast food meal about 50 feet before our driveway and pitches it out the window. Thanks Scumbag!

Next Sunday I'm taking the Garbage Bag in tow.

Watermelon Juice = Ethanol Fuel

Leftover watermelons from harvests can be converted into clean ethanol fuel. The leftovers from America's farmland can create up to 2.5 million gallons for our own personal car machines, nautical vessels, and even aeroplanes.

Louisville composting operation gets their own documentary

"Breaking New Grounds" by Walter Brock is a documentary on the Louisville organization of the same name. I had volunteered a handful of times summer before last and hope to be able to work with this group again in the future. Below you can view the two segments comprising the documentary.

Bring him a 5-gallon jug of that oily deliciousness while he's on tour and you can see his show for zero dollars. If that ain't cool...I just don't know what is anymore.
